2014 USA Pro National Championships, from Chattanooga, TN. Tour Tracker w/video: http://usapro.thetourtracker.com/ As of this posting (4 PM on May 26) the Men's Road Race was in-progress. Alison Powers (UnitedHealthcare Pro Women's Team) has made US cycling history this past Memorial Day holiday-weekend by winning both the women's individual time-trial on Saturday and, earlier today, the women's road race - add that to the criterium race she won in August of 2013, Powers becomes the first woman to hold national-titles concurrently in all 3 road-disciplines governed by USA Cycling - she will defend that criterium-title in a few months. Filling out the podium for the women's road race is the 2012 national champion Megan Guarnier (Boels Dolmans) in 2nd, and Evelyn "Evie" Stevens (Specialized-lululemon) in third. Stevens was also 3rd in the time-trial behind Powers and the defending 2013 ITT national champion (& Evie's teammate), Carmen Small in 2nd.
UPDATE: Taylor Phinney (BMC) who on Saturday won the Men's ITT, has crashed out of the Road Race on the 1st descent from Lookout Mountain with injuries (not sure how severe, he is being evaluated at a local hospital at this time). UPDATE: Broken leg, as tweeted by his BMC team. He's done for the season (or at least no Tour de France for him this year). Sending positive waves to Taylor for a quick recovery!

24 miles (37 km) to go. We have several breakaway-groups up ahead of the main field. There so far have been 4 ascents of Lookout Mountain (Taylor Phinney crashed on the first one), they are now hitting the final 4-lap circuit in Chattanooga.

21 km (12 mi) left... another group has broken away from the main peloton. The breakaway is splintering and re-grouping (still 1:15 ahead of the main bunch). Ben King seems to be the strongest here..

4km (2.5 mi) left.. Main bunch's deficit has climbed to 3 minutes! They're donezo!! The winner will come from this lead-break of 3 riders: Stemper, Travis McCabe (SmartStop) and Scott Zwizanski (Optum). This is likely your podium here...
